Finally got my old garage door to stop squeaking with a bar of soap
The tracks were so loud I could hear them from the kitchen, but rubbing a plain bar of Ivory soap on the rollers did the trick. Anyone know a good local spot to buy replacement rollers before these finally give out?

Oh man, I did the exact same thing last year! Honestly, just order the rollers online, the hardware store ones are way overpriced for what you get.

That soap trick is just a quick fix though.

What makes you say it's just a quick fix? I've used a bit of soap on a squeaky hinge and it stayed quiet for months. It gets into the metal and stops the rubbing.
