Talking to my neighbor about his old furnace made me realize something

I was chatting with Mr. Peterson across the street while he was raking. He mentioned his furnace is original to his house, from 1972. He said, "Back then, you just called one guy and he fixed the whole thing." It hit me that now I have to manage separate companies for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical for my own place. It feels like a lot more work just to keep a house warm. How do you all handle coordinating different home repair people?

My buddy had three different HVAC guys at his place last month, each one blaming the last. Sounds like anthony_campbell88's committee meeting got real.
