That one inspector who saved me $9,000 on a Parma flip
I was about to close on a little bungalow in Parma last fall, and the seller kept pushing their own home inspection report. My realtor told me to bring in my own guy, so I paid $450 for an independent inspection. He spent an extra 20 minutes crawling under the porch and found a sagging beam the seller's report completely missed. The quote to fix it was $9,000 and I walked away from the deal. Has anyone else had a seller's inspector miss something that obvious, or am I just paranoid now?

Those inspectors miss stuff all the time, but nine grand for a beam sounds like a flipper trying to scare you off a good deal.
