The granite countertop quote was half the cost of my dining room set
I heard a neighbor at the hardware store saying everyone should rip out laminate and get quartz. I priced it out on my 12x10 kitchen, $3800 installed. That's more than I paid for my whole house lot, so I'm keeping the laminate and spending that on a new furnace instead. Anyone else think the countertop craze is way overblown for older Cleveland homes?
