Vent: I paid a guy $500 to clear my gutters and he just sprayed water from the ground, leaving all the packed leaves.

Now I have to pay someone else to actually do it right, so what's a fair price for a full clean out in Cleveland Heights?

Maybe he thought the leaves would just wash away?

Ugh, that's the worst kind of wishful thinking. Been there, done that, ended up with a clogged gutter.

Seriously, what a genius plan. Leaves magically dissolving in the rain is right up there with dishes cleaning themselves. Next time, just let the squirrels build a nest in there and call it an upgrade.

Oh man, that's brutal. Honestly, that guy's logic is on par with @the_william's guess, thinking the leaves would just vanish. Tbh, spraying from the ground just packs the mess down tighter. You basically paid him to make the job harder. A fair price for a real clean out here is probably between $150 and $300, it really depends on your house size. Just make sure the next person actually gets up on a ladder.
