Vent: My fence is on the property line... and my neighbor wants it moved.
Moving it costs me, but arguing might ruin our relationship.

Oof, "cost me a fortune" is too real. My buddy had a similar fence fight and his lawyer bills alone were insane, @young.nora. Whole thing dragged on for months.

Fence disputes can really drain your wallet fast. Lawyer fees are just the start, with court costs and expert reports adding up. The time spent dealing with it is huge, taking away from work or family. It also strains neighbor relationships, making things awkward for years. Sometimes, even after spending all that money, you might not get the result you want. It's a tough lesson in how small issues can blow up into big financial problems.
