Got ripped apart for using gas leaf blowers last month
Been doing yard work for my neighbors on the side for pocket money, always used my old Stihl gas blower. This guy walks by, stops, and just goes "you know that thing spews more emissions than a Ford F-150?" I laughed it off at first. Then I looked it up after he walked away. Turns out he was right, some small gas engines are terrible. Drove me crazy for a week. Ended up selling the Stihl and picking up a battery powered Ego blower for $150 on Craigslist. Quieter, no gas smell, and honestly does the job fine for my little gig. Anyone else switch away from gas tools and notice a difference?

Buddy of mine runs a landscaping crew and he was the exact same way with gas stuff until last spring. One of his guys left a blower running next to his truck while they loaded up, melted a big gash right into the side of the truck's plastic bumper. That plus the constant smell on his clothes finally pushed him over. He went full battery over the summer, Ryobi stuff I think, and now he just laughs about how much quieter his mornings are. No more cranking cords twenty times either, just pull a trigger and go.

Did you just swap out everything at once or piece by piece?
