Just realized I hit 500 miles on my bike this year without a car trip

I've been bike commuting in Portland since January and I finally added up the miles last night. 500 miles on just two wheels, no gas, no parking headaches. Is it just me or does that feel bigger than it sounds? Curious how many miles others have racked up this year doing the same.

Pump the brakes real quick, @uma_taylor47, 500 miles? That's like biking from Portland to the coast and back twice. I'd call that a win, but my knees are already hurting just thinking about it.

Heard 500 miles burns about 15,000 calories. That's a lot of donuts right there.
