My neighbor called me out for watering my lawn at noon in July
I always thought I was being responsible by keeping my grass green. But my neighbor Linda came over last summer and told me I was wasting like 75% of that water because it just evaporates in the heat. She showed me how her lawn stays fine with watering at 6am instead. I switched that week and my water bill dropped by $30 a month. Now I also put a rain barrel under my downspout for the flower beds. Has anyone else changed their watering schedule and seen a big difference?
