Question about those community solar farms you can subscribe to
I thought it was just a greenwashing gimmick, but after seeing my friend's electric bill in Buffalo drop by $40 a month for three straight months without installing a single panel, I'm signing up this week, and has anyone else tried a program like this in their city?

Forty bucks is nice, but what happens when it's a cloudy winter? My cousin did something like this and his discount vanished for two months straight. They call it a "subscription," which means you're locked in but the savings aren't. Feels like betting on the weather with extra steps.
