Solar panels nearly broke my roof, but one simple fix changed that
I installed solar panels last July and roofing guys told me the mounting brackets were stressing the tiles. Swapped to adhesive rail mounts instead of drills, cost me an extra 200 bucks but no leaks after two heavy storms. Anyone else run into roof damage from their setup?

Same thing happened to me, the adhesive mounts saved my roof too.

Used to think adhesive mounts were sketchy, but yeah they totally changed my mind.
