Swapped my gas mower for a corded electric one after a neighbor complaint

I used to mow early Saturday mornings with a loud gas mower, but after Mrs. Chen asked me to wait until 9 AM, I picked up a $90 corded electric model last spring. It's quiet enough to run at 7 AM now and saves me about $15 a month on gas - has anyone else made the switch and noticed their electric bill barely bumps up?

Hold up, Mrs. Chen made you switch? That's wild, bro.

Wait, I don't think electric bills work that way. Your monthly electric bill would go up like maybe a dollar or two at most just from mowing, not a huge bump. But saving $15 a month on gas seems kind of high too unless you were mowing a huge lawn every week.

Bought a corded electric mower myself about three years back after tripping over my gas can one too many times. First time out, I ran over the extension cord and cut clean through it. Had to spend twenty minutes splicing it back together on the driveway while my neighbor watched from his porch drinking coffee. Now I just wrap the cord around my shoulder like a backpack strap and it works fine as long as I remember to unplug before backing up.
