Turns out my city's compost program accepts pizza boxes, game changer

I just found out that my local transfer station in Columbus will take greasy cardboard for composting, not just clean paper. I've been tossing pizza boxes in the trash for years because I thought grease ruined them. Read it on the city's waste management page last Tuesday, and they even have a drop-off point open on Saturdays. I saved about 12 greasy boxes from the landfill this month just by stacking them in a separate bin. Anyone else have a recycling rule they got wrong for way too long?
