Burned $240 on a digital edge finder, went back to the old wiggle method
Bought one of those fancy digital edge finders last month after my cheap mechanical one kept slipping on the spindle. It worked great for like 2 weeks until the battery contact corroded right in the middle of a job and started giving false zeros, scrapped a part that was already 3 hours in. Anyone else dump cash on a gadget that just made life harder or am I the only sucker here?
