Changed my feed rate mid-job and the part started singing opera at me

Tbh I bumped the spindle speed up 12% on a brass job in Tulsa and the tool started howling this weird harmonic note that got louder every pass, so I stopped to find the insert had chipped at a weird angle and was basically vibrating like a tuning fork, anyone else ever had a tool make a noise that actually made you laugh instead of panic?

Ha, that's wild! I had a similar thing happen once with a stainless job where the end mill started singing this high pitched squeal that actually sounded like a bird. The weird part is it was so ridiculous I just stood there watching it for a second before I realized I needed to kill the feed. I backed the speed down about 8% and the noise went away, so I checked the tool and the coating had worn off one flute unevenly. That uneven edge was what made it vibrate like that. Now any time I hear a noise that sounds almost musical, I stop right away because it always means the tool is fighting something it shouldn't be.
