Got a coolant hose snagged on a part at 5000 RPM last week
It wrapped around the spindle and sprayed everything within 20 feet before I hit the e-stop. Anyone else run wire loom over their coolant lines to keep them from moving around?

Wrap them in nylon braided sleeving. Keeps hoses from snagging.

Wrap them in nylon braided sleeving" - wait, hold up. You actually wrap your hoses in that stuff? I thought that was just for computer cables and electrical wiring, never crossed my mind for hose lines. That's wild, I gotta try that on my air hose setup.

Man, that sleeving is a game changer for shop air hoses. I wrapped my compressor line with it a few months back and it stopped snagging on every damn thing in my garage. Just make sure you get the split kind so you don't have to disconnect the fittings to slide it on.
