Hit 1,247 parts scrapped this year and the number finally woke me up
Been running the same aluminum job on our Haas VF-2 since January and I just pulled the scrap log for review. 1,247 bad parts this year, and 800 of them trace back to one thing: I stopped checking my tool offsets after lunch break. Didn't catch it until Marcus in QC asked why the bore was running .003 over on the third shift run. Anyone else notice their scrap rate creep up when they get comfortable on a long run?
