I finally hit 10,000 parts without a single reject on my Haas VF-2

Was just checking my job tracker and realized I ran a full year on the same program with zero scrapped parts. Anyone else keep close tabs on their reject rates or just me?

Jumped into a production run right after reading this. That kind of consistency is rare man. Most folks don't realize how much of that comes down to the little things like chip clearance and coolant flow staying consistent. You probably got one of those machines that just runs smooth once you find the sweet spot. Not bragging or anything but I bet your setup time is a joke by now too.

I gotta disagree with you there @wesley_adams, chasing that kind of consistency too early can backfire. Jumping straight into production runs without fully validating the setup across a few test parts might lock you into bad toolpath habits that are hard to break later. In my experience, going slow on the frontend saves more time than you think once things get rolling.

36 years in and spindle warmup cycles still get overlooked.
