I thought tool presetters were a waste of money until my shop in Cincinnati got one and our scrap rate dropped 30% in a month.

Tell people it's about consistency, not just the tool. You get the same exact setup every single time, so the machine doesn't have to guess. That repeatability is what actually saves the money.

Exactly, it's like the machine's muscle memory lol.

Yeah that repeatability point is key. It also cuts down on machine downtime from bad offsets. The machine just runs instead of waiting on a guy to tweak things.
