Spent 3 hours hunting a loose wire on machine 4 at our shop in Dayton

Tbh I was convinced the issue was some weird software glitch or a bad servo drive. Turns out it was just a ground wire that had come loose inside the control cabinet after a vibration over time. Took me way too long to grab the schematic and actually trace it instead of guessing. Anybody else hold out on reading the manual when troubleshooting?

Honestly three hours on a loose ground wire? That's brutal man.

Wait, did you actually spend three hours hunting a loose ground wire? @anthony129 that reminds me of the time I tried to fix a ceiling fan switch and ended up taking the whole thing apart twice before realizing I had the wires crossed. Thought I was gonna lose my mind. Three hours is rough, but sometimes the simplest things turn into the biggest headaches. I swear half the time I spend working on my old truck is just chasing down one stupid wire that's barely hanging on. At least you found it, right? Bet that felt good when you finally figured it out.
