Spent 4 hours chasing a ghost offset that was a dead battery
Last Thursday I was setting up a repeat job on the Haas and the tool probe kept reading 0.003 off every single time, so I kept messing with work offsets and even re-zeroed the whole vise. Turns out the wireless probe battery was sitting at 6% and giving flaky readings the whole time. Anybody else ever burn a whole shift on a dumb sensor issue like that?
