I finally broke my code by adding one missing semicolon

I was in my living room at 2am trying to finish a simple Python project for an online course. My loop kept throwing an error and I couldn't figure out why for almost an hour. Turns out I forgot a semicolon in a line that called a function inside another function. Has anyone else spent way too long hunting down a tiny typo like that?

Oh man, the semicolon nightmare. I spent three hours once on a missing comma inside a nested list. It was just one tiny character. Felt like my brain was going to melt. Totally feel your pain on that one.

Seems like that's how life works too, the tiniest things trip you up the most.

and that missing semicolon thing is worse when you're running on no sleep at 2am because your brain just cant see it. i had a similar thing happen with a colon in a dictionary once and i stared at the screen for like an hour before my roommate pointed it out. it's so frustrating when one tiny character messes up everything you worked on. but honestly, once you find it, the relief is almost as good as finishing the whole project. sometimes those late night coding sessions turn into a real test of patience.
