PSA: I told my kid to skip the tutorials and just build something, and it actually worked
Six months ago my son in Tucson kept starting Python courses and quitting around lesson 4, so I finally told him to write a dumb little tip calculator for my dental office instead. He got stuck on rounding for two days, googled his way out, and now he has 14 small scripts he actually uses. Am I crazy for thinking building one bad thing beats watching ten good tutorials?
