Watched a guy debug his code with a notebook at the library and it changed my whole approach
I was at the main branch on a Tuesday afternoon and saw someone writing out each variable by hand on graph paper before typing a single line, and I tried it the next day and caught three bugs I would have missed, has anyone else gone back to pen and paper for coding?

My handwriting is so bad I'd probably misread my own notes and create more bugs.

Lol same here, my code would probably look like hieroglyphics if I tried to copy it by hand.

Know a guy who once tried to write out a CSS animation by hand on a napkin during a meeting. Ended up with something that looked more like a treasure map than code. He showed it to me later and I honestly thought it was a doodle of a rollercoaster. Next day he types it up and somehow the animations were all backwards and nothing moved where it was supposed to. Took him three days to figure out what his own napkin meant.
