Am I the only one who checks the roast date before the bean origin?
Watched a guy at the shop in Portland grab a bag stamped 5 months old and talk about the altitude it was grown at for 10 minutes. Roast date is the one thing that tells you if it's already dead, origin just tells you what it could have been. Do you check the stamp first or the label first?
