Burnt my hand on a gooseneck kettle, now I'm paranoid about steam
I thought the whole point of a gooseneck was precision, not self-injury. The steam was invisible and I was half asleep, so my fault, but my grip is way more careful now. My pour over routine went from 5 minutes to 8 because I'm double checking everything, mostly the lid.
