My French press disaster in a Denver hotel room changed my mind about pre-ground coffee
I was rushing and used the hotel's free packet, which clogged the filter and sprayed grinds everywhere... Now I pack a small hand grinder. Anyone have a good travel grinder they like?

Grab a Timemore C2, it's a lifesaver. Fits in a toiletry bag, grinds fast, and the adjustment clicks are solid. Took mine to a conference last month, had decent coffee every morning without the mess. That hotel packet sludge is the worst, never again.

Seriously, the C2 is a game changer. I used mine camping last weekend, just tossed it in my backpack. Waking up to fresh ground coffee by the lake beat instant powder so much.

Oh man, the idea of grinding beans by a lake feels like cheating on nature (in the best way). I can just picture the confused squirrels watching you do your little morning coffee ritual while they eat pine cones.
