My morning coffee went from bitter to smooth after I started using a kitchen scale
For months I just eyeballed the grounds, but three days ago I measured exactly 20 grams for my French press. The difference was huge, no more harsh aftertaste. Has anyone else had a simple change make that big of an improvement?

Dude, yes! I did the same thing with my pour over last month. I was just guessing before and my coffee was either way too weak or tasted burnt. Weighed out 18 grams of beans like a guide said, and boom, perfect cup every time. It's wild how such a tiny change fixes everything.

Know exactly what you mean. I used to just scoop beans straight from the bag and wonder why my morning cup was a total gamble. One day it tasted like brown water, the next it was pure bitterness. Finally getting a cheap scale and sticking to 20 grams for my French press was a game changer. It feels so simple now, like why did I ever guess?
