Shoutout to my new compostable coffee pods for creating a science experiment in my machine

I bought these eco friendly pods that are supposed to break down in my brewer. Woke up to find them swollen and jammed, with coffee sludge dripping down the counter. Had to spend my morning cleaning out what looked like wet cardboard mush. Still committed to being green, but maybe I'll stick to a regular pot for now, lol.

Ever wonder if the eco option is worth the mess? @robert_jenkins82 is right, it's a huge hassle when they fail. Maybe the tech just isn't there yet.

Hey, did you make sure those pods work with your specific machine? I had a batch that swelled up and burst in the brewer, leaving a similar wet cardboard mess. Cleaning out all the sludgy bits from the inner parts took forever. It's a bummer when the eco option turns into a big hassle like that.

Tbh, I see this all the time with eco stuff. It's like they forget people actually have to use the things.
