Showerthought: I've been storing my beans wrong the whole time

I kept my bag of Counter Culture beans on the counter for months. A friend pointed out that the light from my kitchen window was probably making them go stale faster. What's the best spot in your kitchen to keep coffee fresh?

My mom's pantry has a perfect spot like that too. It really does make a difference, @rubyshah. I keep my tea bags in the same kind of dark corner.

Totally get why @the_linda did that. I mean, light and heat really do mess with the flavor fast. Keeping it tucked away just makes it last so much longer.
