Corner booth or bar seat - which do you pick for writing?

I spent last Saturday at the Daily Grind in Austin trying to decide between a corner booth with an outlet or a bar seat near the window. I went with the booth because I needed to charge my laptop, but the noise from the espresso machine was terrible. After 3 hours of struggling to focus, I moved to the bar and finished my article in 45 minutes. Anyone else find bar seating better for actual work, or is it just me?

Honestly the noise is way less distracting when you can actually see the street outside.

I set up my little desk right by the window at home... the afternoon light helps me focus more than I ever expected. Keeping the blinds open made a huge difference for me, the noise just sort of blends into the background. It's funny how being able to see the cars and people moving around out there makes everything feel less cramped. Sometimes I even crack the window a bit, the fresh air helps too.
