Finally asked the guy I've seen at the same table for months what he's always writing. Turns out he's drafting a graphic novel, and we talked for a full hour.

That's a solid win for talking to strangers. What's the graphic novel about, is it a superhero thing or something totally different? You don't find many people actually putting in the work to draft one. Did he show you any of the art?
