Guy next to me at a cafe in Austin wouldn't quiet down on a call, so do you say something or just leave?
I was at a spot on South Congress in Austin last Tuesday around 9am, and a guy two tables over spent 40 minutes on speakerphone talking about a real estate deal. Not quiet, either, full voice, whole thing about an offer on a duplex. I sat there for a bit hoping he would wrap it up, then I just asked the barista if I could move to the back room. She was cool about it, but I still felt weird being the one who relocated. The other side is standing up for yourself and just asking the guy to take it outside, which honestly might have worked fine. So which is it, do you move because it is easier, or do you say something because the space is for everyone? I want to know how you all handle it, and if you did speak up, what did you actually say.
