Sat at the same counter seat for 2 years, never knew the staff called it my spot

Last week the barista at Blue Bottle in Portland handed me my usual without asking, then pointed at the seat and said "we've saved that for you since March." I thought I was just being consistent, but apparently I've been building a routine that everyone else noticed before I did. Anyone else have a coffee shop that basically runs on auto-pilot when you walk in?

Staff at my old diner started calling it the "coffee corner" after three months. Took me a year to realize they had my order memorized down to the extra ice.
