Yeah, that's such a real way to start seeing the world differently. Once you lock onto how light hits at a certain time, you start judging every cafe or waiting room by its windows. My camera roll is full of test shots from random chairs, just checking the shadow lines. It turns a quick coffee run into a little planning session for later.

Oh totally, I read that painters used to do the same thing, just sitting and watching how light changes how they look at things.
