Showerthought: the barista at the Oak Street shop handed me a lukewarm latte and I just stood there
Last Friday I stopped at the little place on Oak Street before work and the barista handed me a latte that was barely warm, like she had let it sit for 5 minutes. I stood at the counter for a second debating whether to say something, then just walked out because I was already late. Half a block later I turned around, went back in, and asked her to steam it again, which she did without any fuss. I felt dumb for making it awkward, but the second one was actually hot. Do you all send drinks back or just drink them cold and move on with your day?
