The coffee shop on 5th added a second grinder, now my 20 minute wait is 6
Two years back the line at Sacred Grounds on 5th Street wrapped past the door by 8am and regulars just accepted a 20 minute wait for a pour over. Last month the owner put a second grinder and a dedicated barista on the bar, and my wait dropped to 6 minutes with the same drink quality. Is a shorter line better for the shop, or does losing that standing-around time kill the whole reason we go?
