I spent over $300 on a 'complete' digital comic bundle that was missing half the issues
Last month, I saw an ad for a digital bundle of a classic 90s X-Men crossover event. It said 'Complete Saga' and was priced at $320. I jumped on it because finding those single issues is tough. After I bought it and started reading, I realized it only had the main series, not any of the tie-in issues from other books. Those tie-ins are key to understanding the whole story! I felt totally cheated. The seller's small print said 'core series only,' but that wasn't clear at all on the main ad. I lost a big chunk of my comic budget for the month on something that wasn't what I thought. Has anyone else gotten burned by a vague digital bundle description? How do you check if something is really complete before buying?

Yeah, that's the worst. It feels like every company hides the real details in the fine print now (my phone bill did the same thing with "unlimited" data that gets super slow). For digital stuff, I've started looking for a full issue list in the product details, and if it's not there, I'll search the exact bundle name on forums to see if someone else has posted what's actually included.

You said "core series only" was in the small print, so the seller did tell you.

Ugh, that's such a scam! I got burned on a "full run" of a manga that skipped three whole volumes. Now I only buy if I can find a screenshot of the actual file list.
