Honestly, trying to make every little thing fit is a sure way to miss the good stuff. Learned that from years of following long running series. If you get hung up on a date or a costume being wrong, you lose the character's whole journey. Sometimes you just have to let the small stuff go for the bigger story to work.

I've found that stressing over every story detail matching perfectly ruins the fun. I mean, just go with the flow and enjoy the ride.
