My entire longbox of 90s X-Men comics got soaked when a pipe burst in my garage last month.
I managed to salvage most of them by carefully separating the pages, but a few key issues are totally ruined. Has anyone else had to deal with major water damage to their collection?

Honestly that's a collector's worst nightmare right there. Tbh my old apartment had a leak that turned a short box of my Image #1s into a weird papier-mache brick. Ngl it still hurts to think about, those covers were so shiny. At least you saved most of them, that's a win even if it doesn't feel like it right now.
