My LCS pull list system broke and I lost 3 months of comics

I walked into my local shop last Saturday and they told me my pull list had been deleted during a computer swap. Somehow I missed 12 issues from May through July, including a signed variant I had preordered. The owner just shrugged and said sorry, no way to prove I ordered it. I spent almost 2 hours digging through back issue bins trying to find what I lost. Ended up paying $45 extra just to catch up on key story arcs. Has anyone else had a store just lose your entire pull history like that?

Ask them to CHECK their transaction history from your purchases.

Did you see that post from someone who had to do this and it actually worked to get their money back? @miles_young59 is right, it's the only way to prove it on their end.
