My spineless Storm action figure almost ruined a birthday party

At my nephew's party in Austin last Saturday, I grabbed my old Storm figure to show off and her waist literally snapped clean off mid-float pose, sending her torso flying into the cake. I spent 20 minutes trying to superglue her back together at the kitchen table while three kids watched, and she still leans like she's dodging a lightning bolt. Has anyone else had a retro figure just crumble at the worst possible moment?

Twenty minutes of superglue surgery mid-party and you're still standing there at the kitchen table? Cake's ruined, torso's flying, and the real tragedy is the toy didn't hold up to a float pose. Maybe old Storm was just tired after 30 years of bad guys. Kids watching you panic probably thought it was a magic trick. Sounds like a memorable party to me, honestly. The lean is just her new signature move.

Did you try hitting her with a hair dryer after the glue? That lean's just her new boss battle stance, honestly.
