Serious question, is it worth spending 4 hours to find a single missing issue to complete a 50-issue run?

I just spent an entire Saturday afternoon digging through boxes at three different shops in Phoenix to find Amazing Spider-Man #347, and I'm starting to think the hunt is more fun than actually having the complete set.

It's the same with everything now. We're trained to want the finished thing, the complete set. But the real satisfaction is in the search itself. That's why people bake bread or fix old cars. The chase gives the thing its value. Otherwise you'd just order it online and feel nothing.

The hunt is the whole point, honestly.

Totally get that. I had to learn to enjoy the process, not just the end result.
