Spent 3 hours tracking down a floppy disk reader for my old PC build
I know everyone loves digital downloads now, but I ran into a real headache trying to find a working 3.5 inch floppy drive for a retro comic storage project. Took me forever to install drivers for it because Windows 10 kept rejecting the thing... ended up needing a special USB adapter I didn't even know existed. Why do people act like physical media is dead when stuff like this still breaks your workflow? Has anyone else dealt with outdated hardware causing more trouble than it's worth?

lol sounds like Windows 10's way of reminding you retro builds are a pain.

Honestly, are we really acting like finding a specific drive took three hours is some huge crisis? It's a floppy disk reader not a kidney transplant. Seems like you just didn't know about the adapter beforehand.

@michael_coleman10 you're right I should've known, but that USB adapter was a lifesaver once I found it.
