That time a guy at my LCS told me to stop bagging and boarding everything
I used to bag and board EVERY comic I bought, even dollar bin stuff. Felt like I was protecting my collection. This older collector at my local shop in Columbus told me I was wasting money on books that would never be worth anything. Said I should only bag key issues. I shrugged it off. Fast forward 2 years and I have 3 long boxes full of bagged 90s X-Men filler issues I'll never sell. He was 100% right. Anyone else over-bag their collection?

Wait, like EVERYTHING? I mean, that's kind of wild if you think about it. Where's the line between building up lore in your head and just making stuff up whole cloth?
