Unpopular opinion: reading comics in single issues beats waiting for the trade paperback
I picked up Batman #1-6 at my local shop in Austin over 3 weeks instead of grabbing the collected volume, and the letters pages and monthly cliffhangers made the story hit way harder. Anyone else feel like trades kill the suspense, or am I just old school?

Saga #1-6 monthly at my shop in Austin hit harder than the trade for sure.
