Heard a dive supervisor talking about new gas blending rules in Ft. Lauderdale

Stopped to grab coffee before a job and overheard a supervisor say the operator is now enforcing a stricter helium mix tolerance, like within 0.5% instead of the old 1%. That sounds minor, but if you're using a premixed cylinder from a yard that hasn't updated their charts, you could be breathing something way off spec. Anyone else seeing their shop change standards without notice? Might be worth checking your own fills before splash.

Used to blow that off as the shop being picky, but after a bad trimix fill last month I get why the margin matters now. Good heads up, I'm checking my tanks tomorrow before I even think about the boat.
