Spent 16 hours trying to fix a leaking Kirby Morgan exhaust valve at 60 feet
I was on a job in Galveston last month and that stupid exhaust valve kept letting water in. Took me a whole day and three different seal kits before I realized the o-ring groove had a tiny burr I missed. Anyone else had this kind of headache with those old Kirby Morgan 37s?
Galveston is always a mess with that silt. Did the burr leave a witness mark on the old o-ring or did you only see it when you cleaned the groove with a magnifying glass?
