Spent 6 hours trying to fix a stuck Kirby Morgan exhaust valve underwater
Turned out I just needed to blow compressed air through the inlet for 10 seconds, has anyone else had a simple fix take way longer than it should have?

Oh MAN does that hit close to home. I once wrestled with a simple shutoff valve on a pressure regulator for like four hours before realizing I had to push the handle IN instead of just turning it. Always feels like the universe is personally testing your patience with the easiest stuff, right?

Had a buddy who spent an afternoon trying to get a hydraulic fitting to seal. Finally gave up and called the manufacturer. Turned out he was using the wrong type of o-ring, one that was basically meant for air not oil. Simple swap took him maybe two minutes after that. Felt bad for him but also had to laugh because I've done the same thing with gaskets before.
