Tried a Kirby Morgan band mask last week and got water in my nose on a 60 foot dive

Was the mask properly seated before you went under? Even a tiny hair or fabric from your hood stuck in the seal can let water trickle right up there.

So the mask was 'properly seated' but my nose still got baptized? Classic." @uma_ellis probably thinks I was doing the backstroke with my skull, but I swear I was perfectly still. I checked that seal three times, even shaved my sideburns shorter for it, and still ended up with a sinus full of pool water. Maybe the mask is just really good at finding new ways to betray you.

Nah, that mask is designed fine, you probably just tilted your head back too far and broke the seal.
